Before I have read the books I always cried so much at the end when Frodo leaves for the Gray Havens because I didn’t really understand why. After reading the books I saw how there was really no going back for Frodo, how Sam really was torn in two and how difficult it must have been for both of them. I still cry at the end, but since I now understand it more I am at the same time happy Frodo will finally find his peace.
